Glenn Dale United Methodist Church is participating in the mission trip to Merger, Haiti, Bowie United Methodist Church is sponsoring from June 15 to 22. Our ministry at the Prince George’s Men’s Shelter continues to be a rewarding experience.  Each month when the volunteers from Glenn Dale United Methodists Church arrive with the food, the men at the shelter enthusiastically come out to assist with carrying in the meal.  The meal is quickly set-up and then we call for the blessing.  The blessing is often led by one of the men, but sometimes... [Read more]

Four hundred fifty-six shawls have been crafted by 11 women and given to others since April 2005 when the Shawl Ministry began at Glenn Dale United Methodist Church. Words and notes of thanks make it clear that lives have been uniquely blessed.
