Project Christmas Child Blesses 59 Kids

Samaritan’s Purse is an international organization providing spiritual and physical aid to victims of war, poverty, natural disasters.

Each year they have Project Christmas Child to fill shoeboxes children affected by dire circumstances.  The shoeboxes are filled with small toys, coloring books, dolls, school supplies, hygiene items, socks, hard candy and may have personal notes inside.

This year our church filled 59 shoeboxes to be presented to children who would have no other Christmas items. The boxes were brimming full and we also raised $7 per box transportation cost. Our boxes were sent to the Ukraine and the Philippines.

Many thanks for the generosity of spirit and money.
