The Flea Market Fun Fest drew visitors from near and far on Saturday, May 16.  Despite an overcast sky and threats of thundershowers, we tallied a turnout of over 200 shoppers.  The primary focus of the day was to add a family-friendly festival to the flea market, while glorifying God by reaching out to the community, with fundraising secondary.  We successfully met and exceeded all objectives. Chapel-in-the-Woods Services at Glenn Dale United Methodist Church will begin Sunday, July 5, and continue weekly through Sunday, August 23, 2009.
